Hyderabad, Aug 22 (IANS) The makers of director Ramesh Varma's eagerly awaited epic hybrid live-action film on Saturday announced its title as 'Mahaveer Karna' and said that the film would hit screens worldwide on December 4 this year.
Well known production houses Pen Movies and Sri Neeladri Productions, in association with RV Studios are presenting this pan-Indian film. The film is being presented by well known producer Jayantilal Gada.

For the unaware, director Ramesh Varma, who is helming this project, is best known for commercially successful and genre-driven films such as 'Rakshasudu' and 'Khiladi'.
Having explored action, thriller and commercial cinema, Ramesh Varma has now ventured into an entirely new space with the timeless story of Karna from the Mahabharata.
Sources say that with 'Mahaveer Karna', the filmmaker is experimenting with a hybrid live-action format that brings together the emotional power of live performance and the limitless possibilities of advanced visual effects.
What makes this experiment particularly exciting is the choice of Karna as its emotional centre. Sources say Karna's story was not simply that of a warrior seeking glory but was the story of a man for whom his word stood above everything else. Born to Kunti but raised away from royal recognition, Karna spent his life confronting rejection, identity and fate, yet remaining fiercely loyal to the people and principles he chose.
